These High Schools Rank Top 5 In Norfolk County: Report

The school year is starting off on a positive note for these public Massachusetts high schools that out-performed neighboring institutions, according to the community and school ranking site Niche.

After considering several key areas, the following schools were ranked in the website’s 2023 “Best Public High Schools in Norfolk County” report:

No. 1 - Brookline: Brookline High School

No. 2 - Sharon: Sharon High School

No. 3 - Dover: Dover-Sherborn Regional High School

No. 4 - Wellesley: Wellesley Senior High School

No. 5 - Westwood: Westwood High School

All five Norfolk County schools received overall grades of "A+," based on data compiled from dozens of public data sources and millions of reviews. 

The top five schools all performed top of their class in academics and college prep. 

Ratings for resources and facilities and clubs and activities varied, with Westwood High School receiving an "A-" and an "A," respectively, and Sharon High School receiving a C+ for both.  

The schools suffered more in terms of culinary arts, with four of the five schools receiving "C" or "C-" grades. Only Westwood High School received a "B+" in the category. 

Overall grades also took into account sports, administration, and teacher rankings.
